Peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Membentuk Akhlak Siswa di SDN Cisetu 1 Kabupaten Majalengka

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perhatian peneliti terhadap pentingnya peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam membentuk akhlak siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar. SDN Cisetu 1 dipilih sebagai lokasi penelitian karena karakteristik lingkungannya yang relevan untuk menggambarkan implementasi peran guru PAI. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran guru PAI sebagai edukator, pembimbing, pelatih, penasihat, dan teladan dalam membentuk akhlak siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan keabsahan data diperkuat melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik serta dukungan teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI di SDN Cisetu 1 berperan secara aktif dan menyeluruh: sebagai edukator, guru menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan; sebagai pembimbing, guru memberikan bimbingan secara dialogis dan konstruktif; sebagai pelatih, guru membiasakan siswa dengan perilaku akhlak mulia melalui kebiasaan positif; sebagai penasihat, guru menyampaikan nasihat dengan cara yang persuasif dan tidak otoriter; serta sebagai teladan, guru menjadi contoh nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Temuan ini sejalan dengan teori Gade (2019) yang menekankan pentingnya peran menyeluruh guru dalam membentuk karakter siswa secara berkelanjutan.
